  • 物事には生命力がないことを指す普通の言葉。
  • 人工物や自然物にも用いられ、明確に生命力がないことが想定される場合に用いられる。例えば、lifeless corpse(生気のない死体)。
  • 反応しない、不動の状態を表現する。力が働かない、無気力な状態を想定することが多い。。
